This mixed media installation consists of a series of electronic soft sculptures. Inspired by prayer beads, the circle is an overall sculptural form. The surface of the water tubes is re-woven with silicone-shaped wigs and plastic tag poles to form various abstract but creature-like tentacles. Combining fluid circulation and ice-making electronic systems, this work performs different speeds of movements from visible to seemingly invisible. The air bubbles resemble rosary beads sliding between fingers, and the slow frosting mechanism symbolizes the process of meditation. Moreover, the reflective soft sculpture placed outside reanalyzes and refracts the colorless sunlight, creating colorful curves and shining shapes for the indoor installation.
